Storm help
Before and after a storm.
Follow official instructions first. If you are in danger, call 911.
Before it arrives
- AlertLake is Lake County's official emergency notification system. Evacuation orders come from local officials, not from us.
- The National Hurricane Center has preparation lists for water, food, medicine and documents.
- Residents: photos of your home now and your renter's insurance details are handy to have on your phone.
- Owners: your insurance agent can tell you what your policy covers. Your documents are in the owner portal.
After it passes
Residents
- Stay away from downed power lines and standing water near electrical equipment. Report outages to your electric provider. Find your provider
- If it isn't safe to stay, leave and tell us when you can.
- Report damage in the resident portal with photos, or call or text RLW Management's 24/7 maintenance line, (352) 261-8765 (a division of RLW Realty). After a big storm, lines and vendors get busy, so urgent safety problems go first.
- Your belongings are generally a matter for your own renter's insurance. Your agent can tell you more.
Owners
- Your statement and any work order approvals are in the owner portal.
- Claims are between you and your insurer. Your agent can tell you what photos and records they want.
- Questions about your property? Send us a message, or call RLW Realty at (352) 771-2560.
